My wife, Barbara Cepinko, on the plane on the way to meet my father. My wife and my two daughters, Jodina Lynn Grande and Sherica Blair Grande, flew with me from Los Angeles, California, to Boston, Massachusetts, on Friday, August 8, 2003, the day after my 52nd birthday. We then rented a car in Boston and drove up to Lewiston, Maine, that night. We arrived into Lewiston, Maine, in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, August 9, 2003, and stayed at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.

The elementary school in Poland, Maine, that my father attended as a child.
The school is just down the street from the farm, on the corner of Everett
and Bailey Hill Roads. Frank Drisko, my mother's dad,
was the superintendant of the Poland School District, at that time.

This is the farm house where my father lived with his parents as a child.

The red Chevy Blazer SUV is our rented car.

This was the home of my great-grandparents. It is next door to the home of my grandparents, just down the street a little on Bailey Hill Road.
